Indian Super League 2024-25 – ISL Schedule, Teams, Sqauds and Broadcasting Rights
Hello Guys, Welcome back to our new blog article where we will discuss about 11th edition of Indian Super League which will start from 13th September 2024. Schedule of the First 84 Matches has been announced. The Defending Champion Mumbai City F.C Will Clash with the Legendary Mohun Bagan on the First day of the Tournament. Meanwhile, Mumbai City FC are the reigning ISL Cup winner, defeating Mohun Bagan 3-1 in the ISL Cup final last season to secure their second Cup title. Mohammedan SC, the 2023-24 I-League Champions who were promoted to the top tier of Indian professional football, will be one of 13 teams competing in the league this season. The competition will feature 13 teams for the first time in this edition.
Teams with the most points at the end of the league stage will get entry into the group stages of AFC Champions League 2 next year. The top two teams will also qualify directly for the ISL semi-finals while the team ranked from third to sixth will vie for the remaining two spots via knockout games. Matches will be played in the home and away format and for the first time, all three Kolkata giants (Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, and Mohammedan) will participate in the ISL
